Requirements
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in product-focused environments. • Proven experience shipping reliable, high-quality applications using modern frameworks, APIs, and cloud-native infrastructure. • Fullstack experience, a generalist mindset and familiarity with infrastructure, distributed systems concepts, and observability practices. • Thrives in ambiguity and fast-paced growth while helping shape Cherry's engineering culture. • Ability to collaborate across timezones, maintaining regular early-morning collaboration windows with teammates in Europe during the early stages of team formation. • Early-stage startup experience as an early engineer or technical founder. • Familiarity with our stack: React, TypeScript, Node.js, Kotlin, Postgres, Fivetran, Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, Temporal. • Experience integrating with practice-facing, sales, or operations tooling (CRMs, workflow automation tools, dashboards, merchant platforms). • Benefits (for U.S.- based full-time employees)
Responsibilities
• Build end-to-end software that brings Cherry into more practices and launch new products beyond BNPL. • Make architectural decisions that shape Cherry's platform across frontend, backend, integrations, and infrastructure • Define and implement observability, monitoring, and metrics systems that make our products safer, faster and more reliable for practices and patients. • Collaborate with product, design, data, and operations to rapidly deliver high-impact features and experiment toward measurable outcomes.
