Building AI applications that improve essential public services excites you. • Ideally, you’ve: • Built and shipped successful products - You’ve led product discovery and delivery alongside engineers and designers, taking products from idea to real user impact, but we’re open to hearing from people from other backgrounds. Moving fast, being ambitious, and finding creative ways to turn ideas into real-world impact are the most important qualities. • Worked with and understand technical systems - You’re comfortable working closely with engineers on complex systems - ideally with experience in AI, automation, or developer-facing tools. We have a four-stage interview process, giving you plenty of time to learn about Beam while we get to know you. • 1. 30 mins with our Talent team • 2. 45 mins presentation to the Hiring Manager • 3. Task and full debrief with two PMs at Beam • 4. Responsibilities

• Ship quickly and iterate constantly - You’re comfortable operating in fast cycles of discovery and delivery. Rather than spending weeks scoping and writing lengthy specs, you prefer building, testing and learning with real users. • Obsess over product craft - You care deeply about the details that make products exceptional - speed, reliability, UX clarity, and how tools actually fit into real workflows. • Work directly with users - You’ll spend time travelling to offices to watch practitioners use the product - understanding how their work actually happens so we can build AI tools that genuinely help. • Use AI to solve real problems - You’ll work closely with engineers to turn the latest model capabilities into practical, high-impact features that reduce admin and unlock better services. • Set ambitious goals - You define clear outcomes and hold yourself - and your team - accountable for delivering them. • Help shape what Beam builds next - You’ll influence product strategy based on what you learn from users, partners and the market.
