Requirements
• 6+ years of total professional experience in business development, sales, or related commercial roles • At least 2 years of experience in the online payments / fintech industry, with a broad understanding of the payments ecosystem beyond a single product • Strong understanding of one or more target verticals, including market trends, key players, and the competitive landscape • Solid knowledge of payment products, processes, and typical client pain points, including card acquiring, alternative payment methods, and end-to-end payment flows • Relevant professional network within the payments or fintech ecosystem • Proven ability to independently identify, develop, and close new business opportunities, with a strong focus on new business generation and pipeline development • Experience managing complex B2B deals with long sales cycles (2+ months) • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders on the client side • Strong results-driven mindset, with experience working against clear KPIs aligned with market entry and growth objectives • Experience in PSPs and fast-paced environments is a strong plus
Responsibilities
• Oversee sales operations across multiple European cities. • Develop and implement strategies to increase market share within the EU region. • Manage a team of regional account managers and contractors remotely. • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities for growth, and areas requiring improvement. • Establish partnerships with local distributors and retailers in key markets (e.g., Paris, Barcelona). • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows across Europe. • Monitor competitors' activities to anticipate market changes and adjust strategies accordingly. • Ensure compliance with EU regulations affecting sales practices. • Maintain regular communication with headquarters regarding regional performance metrics. • Provide leadership training for team members, focusing on customer service excellence and product knowledge.
