getscope - Product Designer

London£70k - £100k/year+ Equity1w ago

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years designing products that were shipped. • A portfolio that shows the messy middle, not just the final screens. • You sweat the mobile details: touch targets, offline, errors. • You have opinions on where AI helps and where it gets in the way. • You'd happily put on a hard hat to understand a problem. • Bonus if you've designed for industrial or field work, or prototype in code.

Responsibilities

• Go on site with inspectors and test your designs there, gloves and all. • Own the design of every launch, down to the empty states. • Prototype fast, in code when it helps. • Work next to engineers while they build, so the details come out right. • Decide with Ish and Jakob which problems are worth solving. • Build the design system that lets engineers ship great work without waiting on you.

Benefits

• £70k to £100k base + significant equity, so you have a stake in what you are building • Full visa sponsorship, giving us access to global talent and an international, diverse team • Tools to do your job, including a brand new MacBook and Scope merch • Generous above-market annual leave allowance • Bupa private medical (0 excess, pre-existing conditions covered) + Bupa dental • Employee pension through NEST • Flexible parental leave (including adoption leave) • Healthy meal-prep lunch and dinners, a fully stocked fridge, and team lunches on Fridays • Regular events including off-sites • We value diverse perspectives. If you don't match every point above but this is the kind of problem you want to work on, we strongly encourage you to apply.
