Requirements
• 3 months to 1 year of Software Testing experience or related experience • Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle • Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) • Experience writing test cases • Understanding of relational databases (SQL) and web service technologies (REST) • Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Mathematics, Computer Science, engineering, or similar) • Collaboration and Communication: • CEFR B2 level English proficiency or higher is required • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams • 📝FIRST 30 DAYS: GETTING STARTED • Be trained in exploratory and regression testing, validating defect fixes and logging defects • Understand the core functionality of the Incentives product • Work closely with senior members of the QA team to complete weekly testing tasks • Participate in daily stand-ups and give progress updates on tasks • 🏗️FIRST 60 DAYS: BUILDING MOMENTUM • Gain increased knowledge of the system under test • Gather requirements, create test plans and test cases for new functionality and execute the plan • Deliver timely estimates of testing tasks and scope work • Experience a full software development release cycle from development to testing to release • 🎳FIRST 90 DAYS: HITTING YOUR STRIDE • Collaborating with a cross-functional team to gain understanding and influence business requirements to ensure excellent quality • Increased ownership of testing projects • Ensure a great customer experience by being the voice of quality, raising issues when needed and highlighting risks • 🗒️Note • Candidates selected for this position will be hired by Varicent’s designated professional employer organization.
