Requirements
• SaaS, AI, and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC). • In this role, you will partner with Sales, Solutions Architects, Product, and Engineering teams to support customer engagements, understand business challenges, demonstrate our platform, and help design solution approaches. You will gain exposure to AI-powered SaaS solutions while developing strong technical, consulting, and customer-facing skills. • 2–3 years of experience in Pre-Sales, Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, Technical Consulting, Professional Services, or a similar customer-facing technical role. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. • Good understanding of SaaS products and cloud-based software architectures. • Basic hands-on programming or scripting experience (Python, JavaScript, C#, Java, or similar). • Working knowledge of SQL with the ability to query, analyse, and validate data. • Understanding of REST APIs, integrations, JSON, and web technologies. • Familiarity with AI technologies, including Generative AI, LLMs, AI assistants, or workflow automation. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and business audiences. • Strong presentation and demonstration skills. • Ability to work collaboratively across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams. • Self-motivated with a strong desire to continuously learn emerging technologies. • Exposure to Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), cybersecurity, audit, compliance, or enterprise software solutions. • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. • Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting and visualisation tools. • Experience using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or Microsoft Copilot. • Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot) and collaboration tools. • Understanding of enterprise integrations and automation platforms. • Exposure to technical proposal writing, RFP responses, or proof-of-concept development. • Relevant cloud, AI, or GRC certifications (completed or in progress). • What Success Looks Like • Successfully supports customer discovery sessions and technical demonstrations. • Builds confidence with customers through strong technical knowledge and communication. • Develops effective proof-of-concepts and technical solution proposals. • Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to help progress sales opportunities. • Continuously expands expertise across SaaS, AI, cloud technologies, and GRC solutions. • Progresses toward becoming a trusted Solutions Consultant capable of independently leading technical pre-sales engagements. • Diligent is the AI leader in governance, risk and compliance (GRC) SaaS solutions, helping more than 1 million users and 700,000 board members to clarify risk and elevate governance. Responsibilities
• Lead engagements independently or with a team and coordinate task allocation. Continue to deliver Professional Services over the course of the entire customer journey and/or product enablement lifecycle. • Assist PS management, CS team, and other internal stakeholders in the different stages of the customer lifecycle. • Leverage Domain, Industry and Product expertise to provide guidance to customers on best practices regarding solution rollout and project execution. • Utilize experience to drive successful adoption and reduce associated risks through the delivery of Professional Services. • Perform Quality Assurance of delivery work performed by Advisory Specialists I and II. • Continue to develop Domain and Product expertise to provide guidance to customers on best practices for solution rollout and project execution through continuous learning and personal development. • Identify specialty areas of Domain and/or Product to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and prioritize learning and development of those areas. • Act as a mentor for Data Specialist and Advisory Specialist roles, including being a “buddy” for new hires when assigned. • Support senior management on potential Business Development activities.
