Requirements
• R and R‑Shiny • Use pragmatic approaches to modeling, balancing methodological rigor with real‑world evidence constraints. • AI tools • Draft technical reports, HTA‑ready documentation, and publication-quality materials. • 2. Project Management • Manage day‑to‑day project operations, ensuring high-quality and on-time delivery. • Coordinate project team tasks, ensuring clarity on what’s completed and what’s next. • Provide structure and direction to junior team members while receiving broader guidance from senior project leads. • Support risk mitigation and transparent communication with senior leads. • Serve as a line manager and mentor for junior staff. • Uphold internal quality assurance and quality control standards. • 3. Business Development • Identify potential follow‑on opportunities within existing client accounts. • Draft proposal text, budgets, scopes, and methodologies with support from senior leaders. • Contribute to capability presentations and discussions in areas of expertise. • Support thought leadership in modeling innovation, pragmatic analytics, and evolving modeling methods. • What Makes This Role Different • This position is innovation‑driven and cross‑functional, with unique opportunities to: • Work on cutting-edge, innovative therapies (gene therapy, rare diseases, advanced biologics) and other interventions. • Combine HTA-ready scientific rigor with commercially meaningful value strategy. • Collaborate globally with modeling leaders across Precision to build shared frameworks and next‑generation workflows. • Help shape the adoption of R-based and AI‑enabled modeling within Precision. • Influence how modeling informs pricing strategy, payer evidence, and value communications. • This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow into a future modeling leader, not just managing projects but helping evolve how modeling is done. • Master’s degree in health economics, public health, epidemiology, biostatistics, health policy, economics, or related field (PhD preferred). • 5–8 years of experience in HEOR economic modeling or similar consulting environment. • Strong proficiency in Excel and VBA for model development and adaptation. • Excel and VBA • Strong academic record • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong organizational skills and experience managing project tasks. • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, multi‑regional teams. • Preferred • Practical experience with R and/or R‑Shiny, with an interest in expanding proficiency. • R and/or R‑Shiny • Experience with innovative value assessments, early modeling, or sparse-evidence decision making. • Exposure to payer engagement tools or value communication deliverables. • Interest in applying AI to modeling or evidence generation workflows.
Responsibilities
• 1. Project Execution • Lead and execute economic models, including cost‑effectiveness, budget impact, cost‑consequence, early value, and other innovative frameworks. • Develop model analysis plans, conceptual frameworks, parameter selection, and technical documentation. • Build, adapt, and quality‑check models built primarily in Excel and VBA (required).
