Binance - Java Backend Engineer – On-Chain Payment Integration
Requirements
• The engineer will build backend systems bridging traditional banking with blockchain networks for secure fiat-to-crypto payments and on-chain transaction processing. • Design and develop backend systems for on-chain payment flows, including wallet interactions, transaction broadcasting, and confirmation tracking • 3 5 years of Java backend development experience • Experience with Web3/blockchain: on-chain interactions, wallet integrations, smart contract calls • Familiarity with EVM chains (Ethereum, BSC, etc.) • Proficiency in Spring Boot and distributed systems
Responsibilities
• Design and develop backend systems for on-chain payment flows, including wallet interactions, transaction broadcasting, and confirmation tracking • Integrate with blockchain networks (EVM-compatible chains and others) for on-chain fund settlement • Build APIs and services connecting banking channels with on-chain liquidity • Collaborate with P2P and Fiat teams on cross-system integrations • Ensure transaction reliability, idempotency, and fault tolerance • Monitor chain status and handle edge cases such as reorgs, gas spikes, and failed transactions • 3 5 years of Java backend development • with Web3/blockchain: on-chain interactions, wallet integrations, smart contract calls • Familiarity with EVM chains (Ethereum, BSC, etc.) • Proficiency in Spring Boot and distributed systems • Fluency in English • Fintech or crypto payments • is a strong plus • Work with the world s leading blockchain ecosystem • Fully remote work environment with flexible arrangements
