• Law Degree and Qualified lawyer in the United States. • Legally eligible to work in the country this role is based • 5 years’ experience of independently drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts within a law firm, as part of an in-house legal team or within Factor • Experience working in the asset management/private equity space, with experience of working on real estate transactions • Excellent attention to detail • Operates with substantial latitude, with minimal or no supervision • Ability to handle a consistent and varied workload to meet client deadlines • Frequent client-facing experience in a legal context • Experience of managing and developing teams and supervising their work output • Experience of coaching and mentoring more junior team members • Experience of client relationship management • Strong commercial awareness, working directly with business managers and other functions across an organisation • Extensive legal knowledge in order to act as a senior advisor to the client and serve as an escalation point on issues for more junior team members • Experience in the development and management of standard operating procedures, playbooks, templates and tools for use by a team • Expert written and verbal communication and presentation skills • Very strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite - especially Microsoft Word • ## Desirable Criteria • Ability to review data sets to assist with managing team capacity and identify insights and trends • Ability to manage workflow – efficiently allocating of work within a team • Passion for driving efficiencies through better management of process, playbooks, templates and use of technology, including through the integration of AI.
