Krew - Full Stack Engineer
Requirements
• At least 2 years of full time professional, non-internship experience in full-stack engineering. • Experience with backend development using Python and/or Go. • Strong code quality habits including testing, reviews, documentation. • Product mindset is preferred but not mandatory. • Preferred: Experience in FinTech, Risk Management, or Compliance (not required). • Preferred: Experience with LLM/AI-powered products and event-driven systems. • Security, privacy, and auditing best practices are preferred but not mandatory. • Bonus points for being an ex-founder of a tech company or startup (not required).
Responsibilities
• Developing full stack applications using a variety of programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby on Rails, etc. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize user stories/features based on business needs. • Writing clean code that follows best practices for maintainability and scalability. • Testing applications using unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end testing frameworks like Selenium or Cypress. • Debugging issues in the application to ensure smooth performance across different environments (development, staging, production). • Deploying code changes through CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc. • Monitoring and optimizing applications using cloud services like AWS CloudWatch or New Relic for better user experience. • Documenting the application architecture, design patterns used, APIs exposed, and database schema to facilitate onboarding of new team members.
