Requirements
• 7+ years of experience in financial crimes compliance within a regulated financial services environment (e.g., banking, securities, or commodities) • Experience working with regulators, including familiarity with the BVI Financial Services Commission • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, JD a plus but not required • CAMS certification • Prior experience in an AML compliance role in the cryptocurrency or blockchain technology sector a must • Solid understanding of cryptocurrency markets and blockchain technology • Experience managing projects collaborating with technical and non-technical teams • Demonstrated ability to scale operations and processes in a fast-paced organization • Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Execution oriented mindset with the humility, drive, and resourcefulness to get things done. • Trustworthy, self-motivated and able to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities
• Technical Risk Assessment (TRA): Own the end-to-end orchestration of technical risk assessments, including scheduling, facilitating discussions with senior engineers, tracking blockers, managing engineering follow-up, and ensuring launch sign-off. Must be comfortable operating and managing AI agent-assisted workflows. • Technical Risk Assessment (TRA): • Issue Management & Risk Governance Coordination: Serve as the single coordinator for the Issue Management Program (triage, escalation, reporting, and periodic governance meetings). • Issue Management & Risk Governance Coordination: • Program Governance: Maintain GRC system administration for Issue Management. Synthesize complex risk data into clear, actionable, leadership-ready materials for governance purposes. • Program Governance: • Stakeholder Influence: Drive accountability for issue owners across a matrixed organization. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones.
