Requirements
• Based in the Philippines with consistent availability for a long-term role • Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills • Strong academic background with an outstanding General Weighted Average • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field • Proven experience in a SaaS or fast-paced software development environment • Strong proficiency in automated testing frameworks (preferably Playwright) • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent • Ability to translate product requirements into technical test cases and communicate issues clearly to developers • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across both frontend and backend systems • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying gaps and inefficiencies • Comfortable working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright) to ensure coverage of critical product workflows • Translate product requirements and user flows into scalable, automated test cases • Identify gaps in current QA processes and proactively improve testing coverage and reliability • Collaborate closely with Product Designers and Engineers to ensure features meet acceptance criteria and quality standards • Own and optimize the testing lifecycle within the development process, reducing manual QA dependency • Support CI/CD pipeline management and improvements to ensure smooth and reliable deployments • Monitor application performance and deployment stability, identifying and resolving issues proactively • Document testing frameworks, processes, and best practices for internal teams • Track and report on testing coverage, bug trends, and deployment quality metrics • This is a work-from-home setup • Target of 42.5 billable hours per week • This role follows a consistent daily rhythm that aligns with US Eastern business hours while giving you time for rest, personal tasks, and balance throughout your day. • Here’s what a typical day looks like: • Start your day with a 4.5-hour work block: 9:30am–2:00pm (PHT) • Enjoy your afternoon free: 2:00pm–8:00pm (PHT) • Finish your workday with another 4.5-hour block: 8:00pm–12:30am (PHT) • Sleep/rest: 12:30am–9:30am (PHT) • This structure offers a long midday break while supporting strong collaboration with US-based teams during their business hours. • Work-from-home setup • Note: All of these times would shift 1 hour later when the time difference switches to 13 hour differences from 12 hour differences
