Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen • Remote; 9:00am - 5:00pm EST; 20 - 40 hrs / wk • July through December with potential to extend. • High school diploma with a minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in software quality assurance, software development, or a related technical field; or Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, or a related discipline. • Experience testing web and mobile applications. • Experience testing on iOS and Android devices. • Experience using Jira and TestRail or similar defect tracking and test management tools. • Familiarity with Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari. • Working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work effectively. • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Familiarity with Waterfall methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute manual test cases based on project requirements, user stories, technical documentation, and design specifications. • Perform functional, regression, usability, exploratory, and user interface testing for web and mobile applications. • Validate application functionality, design, and usability against documented requirements and established best practices. • Identify, document, prioritize, and verify software defects using Jira and TestRail. • Work closely with developers to reproduce issues, verify fixes, and ensure defects are resolved prior to release. • Clearly communicate testing progress, results, risks, and release readiness to project managers and other stakeholders. • Test applications across supported browsers, operating systems, and mobile devices. • Recommend product improvements and usability enhancements when appropriate. • Balance testing activities across multiple projects while meeting established deadlines. • Participate in Agile planning, sprint activities, and QA process improvement initiatives. • Help ensure every release meets quality standards before delivery to clients.

Benefits
