Kindbridge Behavioral Health - Bookkeeper
Requirements
• 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience in a corporate, healthcare, or services environment • Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks is required • Experience supporting reconciliations, AP, AR, and recurring accounting tasks • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage routine, repeatable accounting tasks accurately • Experience with healthcare billing systems, EMRs, or practice management software preferred • Background with a small to medium accounting firm a plus • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fully remote environment • Ability to work approximately 30 hours per week
Responsibilities
• Maintain the general ledger in QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records • Prepare and post journal entries as part of our routine accounting operations • Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts • Process accounts payable, including vendor setup, invoice review, coding, and payment processing • Track accounts receivable activity and support cash application • Assist with payroll-related entries and reconciliations • Support month-end and year-end close activities • Maintain organized documentation to support financial reporting and external audits • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency within accounting workflows
