Responsibilities
• The HR Services Advisor is a consultant and builder role focused on helping BambooHR customers identify and address meaningful HR challenges and opportunities through our services. • In this role, you will lead consultative conversations with customers, asking the right questions to uncover HR pain points, surface opportunities for improvement, and guide customers toward the right solutions. You will not rely solely on stated needs, but instead help customers clarify, prioritize, and understand what matters most. • You will play a key role in moving customers from initial conversations to active services engagements while helping shape how BambooHR services grow and scale. • Lead consultative discovery: Engage customers in structured conversations that uncover HR pain points, identify root challenges, and surface opportunities to improve their people operations • Lead consultative discovery: • Nurture and convert: Actively manage and advance customer relationships with clear accountability for progressing identified HR needs into paid services engagements • Nurture and convert: • Shape the problem and path forward: Help customers clarify, prioritize, and understand the impact of their HR challenges and opportunities, guiding them toward the most relevant solutions • Shape the problem and path forward: • Connect customers to the right services: Position and align BambooHR’s HR services, including HR Consulting, Technical Services, and Managed Payroll, to meet customer needs and expand adoption across the BambooHR services portfolio • Connect customers to the right services: • Build awareness: Develop and execute targeted approaches to increase visibility and understanding of our services offerings • Build awareness: • Collaborate across teams: Partner with Marketing, Sales, and CX to shape messaging, campaigns, and materials that highlight services value • Collaborate across teams: • Test and iterate: Run and scale experiments to identify what drives engagement and conversion • Test and iterate: • Drive engagement quality: Maintain visibility into active opportunities and ensure consistent follow through and progression toward defined outcomes • Drive engagement quality: • Recognize patterns and scale what works: Identify repeatable signals in customer needs and help evolve more effective approaches to engagement and conversion • Recognize patterns and scale what works: • Listen and learn: Gather insights from customers and internal teams to continuously improve our go to market approach and service design • Listen and learn: • Represent the customer voice: Help shape how BambooHR delivers and evolves HR services based on real feedback and results • Represent the customer voice: • Proven ability to identify customer needs and convert them into paid services, contributing to measurable revenue growth and service attachment • Experience in HR consulting, HR advisory, or HRBP roles, with the ability to uncover and assess meaningful HR challenges and opportunities • Demonstrated ability to build, nurture, and convert customer relationships into paid engagements • Ability to lead consultative conversations that uncover unstated needs, challenge assumptions, and guide customers toward action • Strong understanding of HR practices, challenges, and decision making dynamics within SMB organizations • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple customer conversations and opportunities with strong follow through • Ability to independently assess HR needs and guide customers toward the most relevant and high impact solutions • Comfort taking ownership of outcomes in a fast moving, evolving environment • Strong communication and storytelling skills that connect HR challenges to clear business impact • AI proficiency required: Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve productivity and evolve how work gets done • A curious, experimental mindset with a focus on testing, learning, and refining approaches • What Success Looks Like • Customers clearly understand their HR challenges and opportunities and take action through services • Consistent conversion of identified HR needs into paid services engagements that contribute to overall services growth with product and service attachment • Strong progression from engagement to active services relationships with minimal stall or drop off • Scalable approaches that increase awareness, engagement, and adoption across the services portfolio • Insights that improve how services are positioned and delivered • Strong cross functional partnership that drives cohesive, high impact customer experiences • Effective use of AI to improve quality, efficiency, and impact of work • You embody BambooHR’s values of growth, empathy, and innovation in your daily work.
