Responsibilities
• Deliver classroom, simulator, dockside, and live-water instruction using approved lesson plans, checklists, and training materials. • Prepare boats, control stations, communications equipment, power, spares, and student materials so each event is ready to run. • Coach operators, maintainers, launch and recovery crews, and customer teams through system setup, pre-launch checks, underway operations, recovery, and basic field maintenance. • Assess student performance against defined standards, document qualification recommendations, and create targeted remediation plans when learners need more practice. • Lead safety briefs and enforce weather, water-condition, operating-area, communications, and site requirements. Stop or adapt training when conditions, equipment, or people are not ready. • Teach abnormal and emergency procedures through simulation and controlled rehearsals before live-water exercises. • Maintain accurate attendance, operating logs, evaluation results, equipment discrepancy reports, and customer handoff records. • Protect sensitive customer information, imagery, telemetry, and operational data. • Contribute to after-action reviews and instructor calibration, turning field observations into practical recommendations for the Training Lead. • Represent UFORCE professionally with customers and partners, communicating system limitations, risks, and readiness honestly. • A collaborative, coachable approach: you teach approved standards, welcome observation, and escalate proposed changes rather than creating unapproved procedures. • Professional communication and discretion when handling customer-sensitive or operational information. • Willingness to travel and work in dockside, live-water, austere, and high-tempo environments.
