Mitratech - Business Intelligence Analyst
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Data Science, or Business Analytics • 1-2 years of experience in a data-driven role, preferably within a business intelligence or reporting function • Proficient in data modeling, ETL processes/tools, and BI reporting tools (e.g., QuickSight, Power BI, Tableau) • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data warehousing concepts • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information for business audiences • Attention to detail and a proven track record of delivering high-quality work • Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment • Experience with agile project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Scrum) • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) • Knowledge of data engineering tools and techniques (e.g., dbt, Glue, Python) • Understanding of data warehousing and experience in data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Athena, Databricks) • Understanding of data visualization best practices and principles • Passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends and technologies
Responsibilities
• Gather detailed requirements from business teams for new business intelligence and reporting initiatives • Document requirements and translate them into user stories for the development team • Design and develop data models to support the reporting and analytics needs of the business • Work closely with data engineers and developers to ensure the successful delivery of BI solutions • Test and validate BI deliverables to ensure they meet the defined requirements and provide the expected value • Coordinate with business stakeholders to gather feedback, address issues, and manage ongoing support • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data quality issues • Maintain clear and concise communication with all project team members and stakeholders • Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest BI tools, technologies, and best practices
