LVT - CDL Driver
Requirements
• 1–3 years of professional driving or delivery experience preferred; forklift operation experience is a plus. • Basic mathematical proficiency required to manage manifest tracking, verify physical inventory counts, and cross-reference Purchase Orders (POs) and invoices. • Physical capacity to regularly lift, push, pull, and secure up to 70 lbs. • Ability to stand and bend while wrapping pallets, and safely operate and sit in a commercial fleet vehicle for 6–8 hours per day. • Must possess a valid California Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to operate the company's commercial and non-commercial fleet vehicles. • Ability to maintain an insurable driving record that meets company safety guidelines and commercial auto insurance underwriting standards. • DOT Requirements: Must successfully complete a Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Examination to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Form MCSA-5876). • Drug Testing: Position is subject to a post-offer, pre-employment controlled substances drug screen conducted in compliance with Federal DOT regulations. • Drug Testing: • Pursuant to the California Fair Chance Act and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, a post-offer motor vehicle record (MVR) pull and employment-eligibility background check will be conducted after a conditional offer of employment has been made. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in a manner consistent with the requirements of the California Fair Chance Act and applicable local and state laws.
Responsibilities
• Evaluate and document unit integrity prior to transport, and conduct onsite inspections upon delivery to ensure the unit remains in its original condition. • Responsible for loading and unloading mobile security units to prepare for delivery and drop off. • Responsible for the safe and secure transport and on-time delivery of materials to and from service centers and storage lots. • Execute safe unit setup and takedown, ensuring product integrity and preventing damage. • Provide immediate, timely reporting of any vehicle mechanical issues or delivery discrepancies to management. • Assist with additional warehouse tasks and projects as needed, especially during downtime or shifting operational priorities.
