Dropzone AI - Senior Software Engineer - Integrations
Requirements
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant experience building backend services and production APIs. • Strong proficiency in Python. • Experience designing REST APIs, including resource modeling, versioning, authentication, authorization, and backward compatibility. • Experience integrating with third-party APIs and troubleshooting behavior across distributed systems. • A solid understanding of databases, asynchronous processing, queues, and cloud infrastructure. • Experience building automated tests and using logs, metrics, and traces to diagnose production issues. • Familiarity with secure development practices and handling sensitive data and credentials. • The ability to take an ambiguous problem from requirements through implementation, rollout, and ongoing support. • Clear communication, thoughtful technical judgment, and a collaborative approach to engineering. • Early-stage startup mindset. Semi-frequent travel to professional office settings and other events locally and nationally; some overnight travel expected.
Responsibilities

If you are hired at Dropzone your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition, all compensation packages include significant above market new hire equity grants because we believe in rewarding long term value creation. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
