whoop - Global Supply Manager (Electrical Components)

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • 3+ years of experience in global supply management, strategic sourcing, commodity management, supplier management, or a related function within a hardware or electronics environment, with experience supporting NPI and high-volume production. • Experience sourcing electrical components or assemblies, with an understanding of markets and cost structures across technologies such as semiconductors, sensors, batteries, PCBAs, displays, or connectors; consumer electronics experience is a plus. • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute commodity or category strategies spanning supplier selection, cost roadmaps, capacity planning, supplier performance, and supply risk mitigation. • Strong commercial, analytical, negotiation, and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex cost structures, supplier capabilities, capacity constraints, and supply chain tradeoffs while balancing technical and business objectives. • Experience working with global suppliers and manufacturing partners and the ability to influence technical and business decisions through data, subject matter expertise, and effective cross-functional collaboration. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, approximately 15%, to support supplier engagement, manufacturing readiness, negotiations, and business reviews. • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to take ownership, navigate ambiguity, and move effectively between long-term strategy and immediate execution priorities. • Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions. • This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA.
