Requirements
• Physicians • MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license • Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine • Family Medicine • Internal Medicine • Eligible to practice telemedicine in licensed states • Nurse Practitioners • Nurse Practitioners • Active, unrestricted license with prescriptive authority • Board-certified (FNP, AGNP, or equivalent) • Meets state requirements for telehealth practice • For All Candidates • For All Candidates • Licensed in multiple U.S. states (strongly preferred) • multiple U.S. states • Strong understanding of evidence-based weight management and metabolic health • Excellent clinical judgment, documentation skills, and attention to detail • Comfortable working in a collaborative, remote-first environment
Responsibilities
• Conduct virtual patient consultations (synchronous and asynchronous, as applicable) • virtual patient consultations • Review patient intake forms, medical histories, and laboratory results • Determine medical necessity and prescribe treatment when clinically appropriate, in accordance with state and federal regulations • when clinically appropriate • Provide ongoing clinical oversight, follow-ups, and adjustments as needed • Document all encounters, decisions, and prescriptions accurately in the EMR • Collaborate with care coordinators and internal teams to support patient adherence and outcomes • Maintain compliance with all applicable telehealth, prescribing, and documentation standards • Serve as an active clinical member of LumiMeds’ PC group
