Requirements
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine • Strong Preference for Obesity Medicine and/or Endocrinology Board Certification • Emergency Medicine Board Certification is accepted if also boarded in Obesity Medicine • At least 11 state licenses, including 3 from the following states: California, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas and Illinois as well as at least one coming from: Arkansas, Missouri, Massachusetts, South Carolina, or North Carolina
Responsibilities
• Conduct consultations both synchronously and asynchronously based on state telemedicine regulations • Ideally can commit at least 10 hours per week • Provide care using our custom EMR: evaluating patient records, diagnosing and prescribing medication, and making lifestyle recommendations • Follow best practices and company-specific policies for diagnosis, treatment, and documentation • Answer patient questions related to their treatment and provide high-quality counseling
