Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap and vision for your product area, aligning customer needs with company priorities. • Partner closely with engineering and design to define requirements, scope solutions, and deliver high-quality features that solve meaningful problems. • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, business development, client operations, legal, and go-to-market teams to ensure alignment and readiness for launches. • Develop a deep understanding of our customers and the production payroll domain to uncover insights, identify unmet needs, and inspire innovation. • Define success metrics and use data-driven insights to guide prioritization and measure impact. • Advocate for quality and compliance, ensuring that products meet the standards required in financial and regulated environments. • Drive execution end-to-end, from discovery through launch, ensuring on-time, predictable delivery. • Triage and prioritize cross-team inbound requests — multiple product teams depend on this team’s systems (approvals, permissions, auth), and you'll manage competing demands which need to evaluated as part your roadmap. • What You'll Have • What You'll Have • 5+ years of product management experience in a SaaS, fintech, or similarly complex technical environment. • Proven ability to define and execute on product strategy with measurable outcomes. • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, sales, operations, legal). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a bias toward action. • Comfort working in areas of ambiguity—able to dive deep and become a subject matter expert. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong critical thinker, creative problem solver, fast learner, and customer advocate with deep empathy for user needs. You have a track record of translating customer insights into elegant, scalable solutions, especially across operationally complex user journeys. • Have a deep technical background with experience working cross-functionally with engineering teams to ship highly complex products. • Experience owning platform or infrastructure products where multiple teams depend on your systems — not just feature team experience. • Comfort reasoning about technical systems like state machines, permission models, API integrations, and auth flows without hand-holding. • Proven ability to manage competing priorities from multiple stakeholders and product teams simultaneously. • Ability to independently leverage data to define, track, and measure product success - using tools like SQL, Pendo, Omni, or Snowflake to uncover insights and inform decisions.
