Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years focused on onboarding, identity verification, compliance, or regulated workflows
- Proven track record of owning strategy and delivering high-impact products in complex, regulated environments
- Deep knowledge of KYC/AML and crypto regulations, with ability to translate requirements into scalable product solutions
- Experience leading vendor evaluations, integrations, and performance management
- Advanced data fluency: defining success metrics, prioritizing roadmap investments, and correlating improvements with business impact
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including writing PRDs, strategy docs, and product vision narratives
- Demonstrated ability to influence across functions and geographies to drive alignment and execution
- Passion for Bitcoin and crypto, with a strong belief in Kraken’s mission of accelerating global adoption

Responsibilities
- Oversee product development for onboarding experience at Kraken to ensure it meets user needs effectively while aligning with company goals.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams throughout the entire lifecycle of a project from ideation through launch, providing guidance and feedback as needed.
- Lead cross-functional team meetings regularly to discuss progress on projects, identify potential roadblocks early in development process, and ensure alignment across all stakeholders involved.
- Develop comprehensive product strategies for the Onboarding experience that are aligned with company goals while also taking into account user feedback from existing products at Kraken; this includes identifying opportunities to improve customer engagement through design changes or new features based on data analysis and market research findings as well as conducting usability testing sessions in order identify areas for improvement before launch.
- Work closely with the engineering team during development of Onboarding experience, providing guidance where needed while also ensuring that all aspects are aligned to company goals; this includes reviewing design mockups or prototypes regularly and making necessary changes based on feedback from cross-functional teams as well as conducting user testing sessions in order identify areas for improvement before launch.
- Participate actively within the Kraken community by attending events such as hackathons, meetups etc., where possible; this includes networking with other professionals and sharing knowledge about best practices related to product development at Kraken while also seeking feedback from peers on ideas or strategies for improving Onboarding experience.
- Maintain open lines of communication between cross-functional teams throughout the entire lifecycle of a project, ensuring that all stakeholds are aligned and working towards common goals; this includes facilitating regular meetings with engineering team members to discuss progress on projects as well as providing feedback based on user testing sessions in order identify areas for improvement before launch.
- Collaborate closely with the design team throughout development of Onboarding experience, ensuring that all aspects are aligned and visually appealing while also taking into account customer needs; this includes reviewing mockups or prototypes regularly as well as conducting user testing sessions in order identify areas for improvement before launch.

- This is the target annual salary range for this role. This range is not inclusive of other additional compensation elements, such as our Bonus program, Equity program, Wellness allowance, and other benefits [US Only] (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).
