Requirements
• Experience in building robust distributed systems for high-volume traffic environments. • Knowledge of modern cloud infrastructure with an emphasis on AWS services and the Quarkus framework. • Familiarity with JSON and GRPC protocols, data storage integrations, queues, OpenTelemetry monitoring tools. • Ability to manage a diverse team in fostering ownership culture and servant leadership principles.
Responsibilities
• Lead the engineering team in developing and maintaining software products for our clients. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of product development goals with business objectives. • Oversee project management processes including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure activities related to client projects. • Ensure that all engineering work complies with industry standards, regulations, and company policies. • Participate in regular meetings with senior leadership to provide updates on the status of various products or services being developed. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the team. • Review code for quality assurance purposes before it is merged into our main product repositories. • Stay informed about emerging technologies relevant to our industry that could impact current projects or future developments. • Represent the engineering department in client meetings and negotiations, ensuring clear communication of technical requirements and expectations. • Manage project budgets by monitoring expenditures related to software development activities within set financial constraints. • Develop strategies for scaling our technology infrastructure as needed based on business growth or changes in demand patterns. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes through regular performance reviews and feedback sessions with team members.
