Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Engineering, Construction Management, Facility Architecture, Computer Science or related field. • Minimum of 10 years of experience, including experience in engineering, construction project/program management. • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analytical skills to evaluate and assess effectiveness of the operations. • Ability to manipulate data to present program status and make recommendations on improving business processes. • Background in clinical informatics and SAFe’s Lean Agile principles and practices. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for producing reports and engaging stakeholders. • MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). • Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM). • Experience supporting federal healthcare initiatives, especially within the Department of Veterans Affairs. • Active Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain one. • Eligibility: • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role.
Responsibilities
• Coordinating with development and user teams to assess risks, set goals, and ensure requirements are me throughout design and construction. • Identify and introducing new infrastructure while minimizing disruptions, managing technical aspects of large federal projects, and providing expertise in network IT and MEP system designs. • Perform construction forensics and continuously address project risks and needs at every stage. • Measure program success, outcomes, and performance improvement initiatives. • Support the management of projects and programs to enhance productivity and performance. • Develop and contribute to program reports, briefings, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders. • Collaborate with VHA leadership and cross-functional teams to align program goals with Veteran healthcare needs.
