Requirements
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript; experience with AI/LLM tools like Claude Code
Responsibilities
• Threat model new product features and integrations; harden systems with effective controls • Operate and evolve the application security toolchain (SAST, dependency checks, secrets scanning) while keeping it high-signal for developers • Own day-to-day security operations across the detection stack (EDR, SIEM, on-chain monitoring, identity, cloud): triage alerts, resolve issues, and reduce noise • Triage vulnerability and bug-bounty findings by real exposure; drive remediation and support incident response end-to-end • Take security tooling/projects from evaluation through org-wide rollout across engineering and infra teams • Automate repetitive security work with AI (vulnerability/AppSec workflows, access reviews, audit evidence, vendor due diligence) • Build reusable AI components, Claude • , and agents for engineering and other functions • 5+ years hands-on security engineering spanning product/application security and security operations • Track record of technical security assessments, system hardening, policy analysis, and implementing controls • Adversarial mindset with ability to pressure-test assumptions • Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript; • with AI/LLM tools like Claude Code • owning security projects end-to-end and securing high-value/high-throughput transaction systems • Clear communication to explain risk and drive findings to closure Nice-to-have: • Crypto/blockchain security • Remote-first (US & Canada) • Regular in-person retreats and cross-country office visit perk • 100% paid medical, dental, vision premiums • $1,000 WFH stipend + monthly internet/phone/data reimbursement • Unlimited vacation + 100% paid 12-week parental leave + fertility • Opportunity for incentive
