Intrinsic - AI Research Scientist, Perception for Contact Rich Manipulation

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical background in Robotics Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. • Foundational understanding of industrial robotics, motion control, and machine vision, with a strong desire to learn and contribute to their application in manufacturing environments. • Programming proficiency with C++ and/or Python. • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal cross-functional teams and external technical partners during deployment and support. • Skills that will differentiate your candidacy • Foundational understanding of AI concepts for perception, robotics and automation, with a strong desire to learn and contribute to their application in manufacturing environments. • Experience with ROS 2 and its major frameworks. • Experience with technologies such as Kubernetes, gRPC, Protobuf, Bazel, microservice architectures, and/or real-time systems. • In addition to the salary range below, this full-time position is eligible for bonus + equity + benefits.
