Intrinsic - AI Research Scientist, Perception for Contact Rich Manipulation

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field. • 3 years of experience in software development using C++ and Python. • Experience with robotic simulation environments (e.g., Gazebo, MuJoCo, or Isaac Sim). • Proven track record of identifying performance bottlenecks and optimizing software. • Experience with 3D geometry processing, scene design, or game engine optimization. • Domain knowledge in robotics and industrial automation. • Skills that will differentiate your candidacy • Master’s degree or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, or a similar technical field. • Experience creating and validating digital twins for industrial applications. • Experience in ROS 2 (and frameworks like BT.CPP, moveit2, ros2_controls, nav2, Open-RMF) and hands-on experience integrating the same into physical applications. • Experience with Kubernetes, gRPC, Protobuf, or Bazel. • Background in physics simulation or validating simulation results against real-world hardware. • Programming skills in Rust (and frameworks like Bevy). • At Intrinsic, we are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
