Rula - Sr. Software Engineer - Trust and Safety
Requirements
• 4+ years of SWE experience, 1+ years working on Trust & Safety systems & 1+ years of experience helping with a brand new project or team • Experience working on cross-functional teams to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical groups • Fullstack experience building modern database-backed (sql/no-sql) web applications • Microservice development knowledge and experience • A passion for and ownership of mentoring others, reviewing architectures, and establishing design patterns. • Have driven all phases of the development lifecycle: planning, specing, execution, and measuring success, post-launch maintenance • Examples of working on highly complex projects with a focus on achieving sustainable results • Experience developing SaaS applications using the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform • Previous experience in products with high reliability/accuracy requirements (finance, mission critical systems, etc.) • Experience with “on-call”, ability to deep dive complex issues and drive them to resolution independently • Experience with NodeJs, Typescript, Kafka • We're serious about your well-being!
