Application Security Engineer

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting microservices-based architectures. • Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code. • Operate and scale Kubernetes clusters and supporting platform services. • Improve observability, monitoring, and alerting for production systems. • Partner with engineering teams to improve deployment reliability and reduce operational toil. • Implement security best practices across infrastructure and deployment pipelines. • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and production issues. • Participate in on-call rotations and incident response as needed. • People Manager Responsibility • This position does not have management responsibilities. • Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • 7+ years of experience in DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering roles. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • Strong experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP). • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container-based deployments. • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Argo CD). • Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools. • Solid scripting or programming experience (Python, Bash, Go). • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills. • Working Conditions and Physical Requirements • The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. • Sitting and / or standing - Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time • Carrying and / or lifting - Must be able to carry / move laptop as needed throughout the work day. • Work Environment - Primarily remote, with occasional in-person presence as needed. • ADA Statement • Bugcrowd is committed to the full inclusion of all qualified individuals.
