Veza Technologies, Inc. - Senior Software Engineer - Backend (Graph)

• Education: • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. • Proven experience (minimum 5+ years) in professional backend software development with a focus on data modeling, data management, identity, security, or related areas. • A history with the development of databases, storage layers, query engines or adjacent tooling. • Experience with complex relational data models in OLAP systems and/or graph database systems such as Neo4j. • Deep knowledge of relational algebra and graph algorithms. • A familiarity with caching mechanisms and distributed systems. • A proven ability to develop and test code in one or more modern backend programming languages such as Golang or Kotlin. • Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs in microservice architectures. • Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, is a plus. • You Are: • An excellent problem-solver with high attention to detail. • Someone who can work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • A strong communicator with the ability to relate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • A mentor who helps others become the best versions of themselves. • A pleasure to work with! • Our Culture • We’re driven to build a strong company culture and are looking for individuals with solid alignment with the following: • Ownership Mindset • Act with Integrity • Guardians of our Customers • Opinionated Humility • Build Trust, Earn Trust • At Veza, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. For this position, the reasonably expected pay range can be discussed with your recruiter for the level at which this job has been scoped. Your base pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for equity and a competitive benefits package.
