• The Non-Negotiables: • Hands-on ownership of the full close cycle, you've personally run month-end/year-end close (journal entries, accruals, reconciliations) end-to-end, not just supported it, and can walk us through a specific close, the reconciliation issues you caught, and the timelines you hit • GAAP revenue recognition experience, including recurring/subscription revenue — you've applied the rules in practice and can describe a judgment call you made • Experience integrating AI/automation tools into accounting workflows — you can name a tool you set up, what it changed, and an error you caught in its output • The Nice-to-Haves: • Quickbooks or similar • Data Modeling, SQL, Databricks, or similar • YOU'LL THRIVE HERE IF… • You care about speed and accuracy equally, and don't treat a faster close as a license to cut corners • You are someone excited by the AI driven changes in accounting, but you have the knowledge and ability to verify and fact check • You flag a blocker early and show up with a proposed fix • You leave books and processes cleaner than you found them • You write things down so the next person can run them • You're energized by owning a function and building it, not just running an existing one
