Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering, SRE, or DevOps supporting low-latency, highly available, production-critical systems • Strong Linux and systems fundamentals with experience operating both bare-metal infrastructure and cloud environments • Deep experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tooling, particularly Terraform and Ansible in production environments • Strong understanding of networking and web infrastructure concepts including load balancing, CDN caching, DNS routing, TLS, and secure traffic management • Experience with observability and monitoring platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, InfluxDB, ClickHouse, or similar tooling • Strong operational intuition across infrastructure, databases, applications, and external APIs with the ability to troubleshoot issues end-to-end • Solid security instincts, including experience with secrets management systems such as Vault or similar technologies • Strong understanding of database operations including replication, pooling, connection behavior, and performance considerations • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to create clear documentation, operational runbooks, and repeatable processes • High ownership mentality with the ability to operate autonomously in a small, fast-moving environment • Experience with Solana infrastructure and tooling, including validators, RPCs, blockchain data services, transaction landing, and wallet custody systems • Strong understanding of low-latency trading or consumer-facing fintech infrastructure • Experience working with Rust, cloud-hosted PostgreSQL databases, and secrets management systems for securing sensitive credentials • What You Won't Find Here • A platform team to hand things off to • Bureaucracy between you and a decision • Work that doesn't matter • Rust / Axum · PostgreSQL · Ansible · HCP Vault · Cloudflare · GitHub Actions · Grafana Cloud · Tailscale · Teraswitch bare-metal · Ubuntu 24.04

Responsibilities

• Own and operate end-to-end infrastructure for JTX across backend services, frontend systems, databases, observability, third-party integrations, and globally distributed cloud environments • Build and maintain reliable deployment workflows including CI/CD pipelines, preflight validation, rollback procedures, and post-release monitoring • Design reproducible infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and infrastructure-as-code best practices • Improve system-wide observability through metrics, logging, alerting, and monitoring to ensure uptime, correctness, and low latency across the stack • Establish strong operational discipline through actionable alerting, incident response processes, and clear runbooks • Manage and secure cloud and edge infrastructure including Cloudflare routing, CDN deployment, WAF, DDoS protection, VPN mesh networking, and zero-trust access controls • Own infrastructure security posture including secrets management, OS hardening, firewall policies, key rotation, and incident response readiness • Support globally distributed SQL infrastructure and performance-sensitive Rust/Axum API systems • Build internal tooling and automation that improve developer productivity and operational efficiency • Define and continuously raise the bar for infrastructure reliability, scalability, and security across the organization
