Requirements
• Integrate K6 performance tests into existing CI/CD pipelines using Harness • Establish repeatable and parameterized performance testing workflows • Improve the stability, reliability, and maintainability of Playwright automation suites • Deliver actionable performance reporting, metrics, and insights • Identify performance bottlenecks and collaborate with engineering teams on remediation strategies • Contribute to the overall performance testing strategy and quality engineering roadmap • 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, Performance Engineering, or related software engineering roles • Strong expertise with Playwright, including framework design, test automation, and API testing • Hands-on experience designing and executing performance testing solutions using K6 • Hands-on experience integrating automated and performance testing into CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Harness • Strong SQL skills and experience performing data validation and backend testing • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, quality assurance practices, and automation strategies • Experience working within Agile development environments • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in English • Experience implementing performance testing as a release gate within CI/CD pipelines • Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architectures • Ability to create performance testing strategies, diagrams, and technical documentation • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, New Relic, Grafana, or CloudWatch • Experience presenting technical findings and recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks using Playwright for both UI and API testing • Create, execute, and optimize performance, load, stress, and scalability tests using K6 • Integrate automated and performance testing into CI/CD pipelines using Harness • Develop repeatable, parameterized testing strategies that support continuous delivery • Analyze application performance, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations • Perform data validation and backend testing using SQL and database queries • Collaborate with developers, architects, and product teams to ensure quality and performance requirements are met • Generate performance reports, metrics, and insights to support release readiness and continuous improvement • Drive testing best practices, automation standards, and quality engineering initiatives across teams • Mentor team members and contribute to the evolution of testing and performance engineering practices
