Bachelor's degree in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or a related technical discipline plus 2+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, field application engineering, or hardware engineering. Ideally within the LiDAR, sensor, or automotive industry.
Master's degree (alternative to Bachelor's with additional qualifications).
Responsibilities
Act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders within target customer organizations, providing technical insights and demonstrating the value of LiDAR solutions.
Collaborate closely with customers, internal sales, and engineering teams to understand requirements, influence product development, and drive sales strategy.
Serve as the primary technical interface between customers and R&D teams, ensuring alignment on product requirements and technical expectations.
Lead technical demonstrations, training workshops, and hands-on proof-of-concept projects to showcase LiDAR technology benefits to customers.
Provide field support for product integration, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues encountered during the deployment of LiDAR systems.
Work with sales teams to develop technical sales proposals, answer RFIs/RFQs, and ensure accurate and compelling technical content in presentations.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including product manuals, application guides, and training materials for both internal teams and customers.
Support the sales process by identifying opportunities for value-added solutions and driving technical discussions that close deals.
Lead on-site customer visits and technical evaluations to ensure product performance meets customer expectations.
Foster strong customer relationships to ensure long-term success and continuous growing business.
