Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or a related technical discipline plus 2+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, field application engineering, or hardware engineering. Ideally within the LiDAR, sensor, or automotive industry.
  • Master's degree (alternative to Bachelor's with additional qualifications).

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders within target customer organizations, providing technical insights and demonstrating the value of LiDAR solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with customers, internal sales, and engineering teams to understand requirements, influence product development, and drive sales strategy.
  • Serve as the primary technical interface between customers and R&D teams, ensuring alignment on product requirements and technical expectations.
  • Lead technical demonstrations, training workshops, and hands-on proof-of-concept projects to showcase LiDAR technology benefits to customers.
  • Provide field support for product integration, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues encountered during the deployment of LiDAR systems.
  • Work with sales teams to develop technical sales proposals, answer RFIs/RFQs, and ensure accurate and compelling technical content in presentations.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including product manuals, application guides, and training materials for both internal teams and customers.
  • Support the sales process by identifying opportunities for value-added solutions and driving technical discussions that close deals.
  • Lead on-site customer visits and technical evaluations to ensure product performance meets customer expectations.
  • Foster strong customer relationships to ensure long-term success and continuous growing business.
