rowan - Data Center Mechanical Engineer

• Travel: Ability to travel up to (25%) for company gatherings, meetings, or to project sites. • Location: Denver, CO (hybrid in-office role) • Compensation: $108,313 - $125,000 (Offers Bonus) • Accredited bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Other related fields may be considered. EIT and/or sustainable design accreditation preferred. • 3+ years of experience participating in data center (or similar complex industrial) MEP design, with preference for experience in data center critical cooling systems. • Hands-on experience with construction activities in the field with strong knowledge of HVAC and Plumbing best practices, safety standards, and quality control procedures. • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Procore, AutoDesk Forma, and Blue Beam Revu. Familiarity with CFD software such as Star-CCM or SixSigma preferred. • Knowledge of MEP design, control, communication, BMS/EMS, and construction practices and processes required • Knowledge of sustainability and integrated design guidelines • Ability to communicate and present ideas in a clear, concise, and professional manner both verbally and in writing • Knowledge of data center industry and trends preferred. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, and highly cross-functional environment. • Ability to work with little oversight.
