The Pokémon Company International - Software Development Engineer in Test (12-month Fixed Term)
Requirements
• Five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant professional experience or a demonstrated equivalent level of expertise. • Bachelor's degree in a related field or a demonstrated equivalent level of applicable experience. • Experience operating within an Agile development environment. • Experience with continuous testing and delivery practices. • Experience with test frameworks (Selenium, nUnit, xUnit, and pytest). • Base Salary Range: For this role, new hires generally start between $117,485 - $156,318 per year. The full range is $117,485 - $211,605 per year. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. The final base salary is directly related to the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
Responsibilities
• Partner with all levels of the technical organization to build and enhance an automation framework focused on quality. • Develop customer centric automation test processes for all existing and new product development. • Develop and maintain automated tests in python and Selenium to ensure traceability to requirements • Build and enhance tools for internal use to ensure quality at scale. • Lead project implementation and execution through test strategies for a wide range of technically challenging products. • Take ownership of changes in our software test methodology for continuous improvement • Document, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs through reviews with development team. • Execute and report automated and manual test cases during all phases of the development life cycle. • Advocate for a quality mindset across all partners and re-enforce a “shift-left” culture in our SDLC
