Requirements
• Currently pursuing a degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field (graduating 2026 or 2027) • A portfolio that demonstrates strong visual & interaction design skills, clear product thinking, and attention to detail • Proficiency with Figma and prototyping tools • Curiosity about how financial products work and eagerness to learn a complex domain • Strong communication skills, you can articulate design decisions clearly in writing and conversation • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while proactively asking for feedback and clarification when needed • Experience with or interest in AI-powered design tools and prototyping • Familiarity with design systems • Previous internship or project experience in fintech, SaaS, or enterprise products • Basic understanding of front-end technical constraints (Web/Native Mobile) • Internship Details • Internship Details • Duration: 10–12 weeks (Start date of June 8th preferred, but flexible if needed) • Duration: • Location: Remote in the US or Canada • Location: • Hours: Full-time (40 hrs/week) • Hours:
Responsibilities
• Contribute to a scoped design project, gaining exposure to research, ideation, and high-fidelity execution • Participate in design critiques, team rituals, and cross-functional collaboration • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform your design decisions • Create wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI in Figma • Contribute to and learn from Mercury's design system • Present your work and learnings at the end of the program
