• 7+ years of progressive experience in data analytics, product analytics, or applied quantitative roles delivering reporting, analysis, and strategic insight. • 1–3+ years of experience formally managing, leading, or mentoring data scientists or analysts, with a track record of elevating analytical judgment in others. • Expertise in SQL and experience working with large-scale relational databases / modern cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery). • Proficiency in Python or R for statistical modeling, data manipulation, and deeper quantitative analysis. • Experience with modern BI / Data Visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Mode. • Strong background in experimentation (A/B testing), causal inference, and cohort/retention modeling within a digital subscription or media environment. • Experience in digital media or subscription-based business model highly preferred. • Familiarity with version control workflows (Git, Github, code reviews)highly preferred. • Experience navigating upstream data complexity and working with high-volume, real-time event data highly preferred. • Passion for sports media and digital publishing highly preferred. • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in a quantitative field (Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Applied Math, or related field) highly preferred. • The annual base salary range for this role is $170,000.00 - $190,000.00 USD. The total compensation offered for this position may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, and location. It may also include non-cash rewards and benefits. The base salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. • For roles in the U.S., dependent on your role, you may be eligible for variable pay, such as an annual bonus and restricted stock.
