OppFi - Manager, Engineering - Customer & Application
Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and 4+ managing engineers; still comfortable in the code and familiar with CI/CD pipelines • Hands-on experience with AI coding tools in production workflows and informed views on AI in regulated financial services • Track record leading teams whose success depends on tight cross-team coordination and high quality delivery • Strong full-stack background with some combination of Java, Ruby, Javascript, and React and experience with microservice-based architectures on AWS or GCP • Fluency with Agile delivery, preferably with scaled models such as SAFe • Positive attitude and exemplary communication skills • Demonstrated experience mentoring and developing engineers • Experience as an Agile Scrum Master / Team Coach on a cross-functional team is preferred • A thoughtful people leader: mentorship, equitable calibration, conflict resolution, sponsorship of underrepresented team members • Reports to: VP, Engineering • Reports to: • Job Level: Manager • Job Level:
