volta - Procurement Finance Manager
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or vendor/supplier management, ideally in a fast-growing or global organization • Proven track record of negotiating contracts and driving measurable cost savings • Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract terms, and vendor risk management • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to manage supplier relationships at all levels • Strong analytical skills, comfortable working with spend data and building business cases for procurement decisions • Experience working cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders • Familiarity with procurement or spend management software • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple vendor relationships and projects simultaneously
Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end sourcing and procurement processes, from identifying vendor needs to negotiating contracts and finalizing agreements • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors, monitoring performance against agreed service levels • Develop and implement procurement policies, processes, and approval workflows that balance speed with cost control • Partner with Finance to manage procurement budgets, track spend, and identify cost-saving opportunities across categories • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors, working with Legal to ensure agreements protect Volta's interests • Evaluate and onboard new vendors, coordinating due diligence with Legal and Compliance teams as needed • Manage the procurement software or tools used to track purchase orders, approvals, and vendor records • Provide regular reporting on procurement activity, savings, and vendor performance to leadership • Identify opportunities to consolidate suppliers or renegotiate existing contracts for better value • Stay current on market trends and supplier options relevant to Volta's evolving needs
