• Support month-end accounting activities, including accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, journals, and reconciliations. • Prepare and post payroll journals across multiple legal entities and departments. • Reconcile bank accounts, intercompany balances, and key balance sheet accounts. • Maintain and improve month-end close trackers, finance policies, and control documentation. • Support tax compliance activities, including VAT reviews and preparation of draft VAT returns. • Contribute to system implementations and improvements, including NetSuite and automation initiatives. • Assist with annual audits and broader finance operations across multiple legal entities. • Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and increase efficiency through automation and AI. • What We'd Like to See • 3–5+ years' experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally within a startup or fast-paced environment. • Degree, accountancy qualification, or studying towards AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or similar. • Experience with accounting systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or similar platforms. • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets. • Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy. • Proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for problem-solving and process improvement. • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities. • Strong communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders across the business. • Interest in ecommerce, technology, or startup environments is a plus.
