NMI - Senior Software Engineer - Money Movement

• Strong grasp of programming languages, techniques, security, and architecture • Ability to take ownership of assigned work and complete it without close oversight • Experience with AI-first coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Copilot) • Experience mentoring and participating in code reviews • 4+ years developing applications with object-oriented or functional languages • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field), or 4+ years of additional equivalent experience • Working knowledge of distributed system design: event-driven microservices, containerized apps, service discovery • Experience with Agile practices • Experience with TDD and Continuous Integration • Experience with paired programming or mobbing • Experience with Scala, cats, or other functional programming tools and libraries • Experience building and sharing AI skills or similar • Exposure to ACH, payments, or other reliable/secure systems is a plus • Do you feel like you have a slightly out of the ordinary career path or history?
