Requirements
• CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA certification • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience with demonstrated ownership across the full accounting cycle • Strong knowledge of IFRS 15 and/or ASC 606, with demonstrated experience applying revenue recognition guidance in practice • Proven ability to reconcile high-volume data across multiple systems with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail • Track record of managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines independently in a fast-paced, remote environment • Experience using blockchain explorers (e.g., Etherscan, Solscan, Mintscan) to investigate and reconcile on-chain transactions • Hands-on experience with crypto accounting: token-denominated revenue, on-chain transaction flows, and digital asset subledger management • Experience in fintech, SaaS, or digital asset-native organizations such as staking providers, exchanges, custodians, or wallets • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems and crypto subledger platforms such as Bitwave, Koinly, Cryptio • Familiarity with AI-assisted accounting or close automation workflows
Responsibilities
• include: - Own digital asset month-end close: subledger & wallet reconciliations, management reporting across entities - Investigate on-chain transactions; ensure accurate measurement, classification, and recognition per accounting standards - Drive AI-assisted automation for journal entries, reconciliations, and per-chain analytics - Build/maintain granular management reporting for leadership visibility into digital asset activity and KPIs - Partner with Treasury, FP&A, Protocol, Data Science, and Risk to onboard protocols, validate data, resolve discrepancies - Prepare accounting memos, audit-ready docs, and support financial/tax audits - Support new product launches, AR function, entity-level reporting, and scaling crypto accounting initiatives • CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA certification - 6+ years progressive accounting • with full-cycle ownership - Strong knowledge of IFRS 15 and/or ASC 606 with practical revenue recognition application - Proven ability to reconcile high-volume data across systems with exceptional accuracy/detail - Track record managing competing priorities independently in fast-paced remote environments - • using blockchain explorers (Etherscan, Solscan, Mintscan) for on-chain reconciliation Nice-to-have: - Hands-on • with crypto accounting, token-denominated revenue, on-chain flows, and digital asset subledger management - • in fintech, SaaS, or digital asset-native organizations - Familiarity with NetSuite, Bitwave, Koinly, Cryptio, or AI-assisted accounting workflows • 100% remote-first environment with co-working options - 4 weeks PTO + 1 week flex days, competitive health

This is a high-impact role focused on accelerating month-end close, driving AI-assisted automation, and ensuring audit-ready reporting as Figment's on-chain footprint grows. Figment is committed to transparency regarding pay, benefits, and other compensation types for all internal roles as well as all roles being hired for. • Base Salary: The US base salary range for this position is USD $105,000 - $130,000. The CAD base salary range for this position is CAD $105,000 - $130,000. This range reflects base salary only, and does not include additional compensation, sales incentives or benefits. For candidates in other countries, the pay range will be disclosed upon your first interview with Figment (being a globally remote company, the list of salary ranges would simply be too long to note here!). The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum range for a new hire across all Canada or the US. A candidate’s specific pay within the range will be determined by various factors including job-related skills, relevant education, and training. • CAD $105,000 - $130,000.
