• A track record of owning a product sub-area or significant feature set end to end, with outcomes that can be traced back to your decisions • The ability to define problems independently from messy inputs, rather than waiting for a fully formed brief • Sound, autonomous trade-offs on scope, quality and technical debt within your scope • Enough technical fluency to partner with engineers on feasibility and integration implications, not just hand over requirements • Clear, structured communication that keeps engineering, design and GTM aligned and surfaces risks early • Experience in payments, fintech, or operational and back-office product such as reconciliation, disputes, ledgers, treasury or FX • Comfort with data analysis to define and track outcome metrics • YOU MAY NOT LIKE IT HERE • Financial operations is detail-heavy and unforgiving. Reconciliation, disputes and FX have real money and real edge cases attached. If you prefer broad, abstract product work to getting the details exactly right, this will frustrate you. • You are expected to define what is worth solving in your sub-area, with support rather than direction. • We are remote-first and async by default. If you need people physically around you to do your best work, this is a real adjustment, not a perk. • Feedback here is direct and frequent.
