Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience • Strong working knowledge of UNIX environment/Unix commands • Database knowledge with sql - MySQL, InfluxDB • Strong scripting knowledge - Python/Bash • Minimum B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential • Ability to switch and track various ongoing tasks and issues is required • Attention to detail in problem solving • Ability to work under pressure within a dynamic trading environment • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team • Preferred: • Experience using Jira as a ticket/work request system • Experience using Grafana/InfluxDB/Icinga • Linux desktop support experience • Experience with version control systems such as git/puppet • Network troubleshooting and analysis experience

Responsibilities

• Night shift:12:00 AM to 8:30 AM CST • Monitoring and alerting of critical trading system environments • Proactive identification and resolution of production issues • Development of tools and driving efficiency, stability improvements, and automation through scripting • Troubleshooting and resolution of complex systems issues • Production deployments of all infrastructure components • Off-hours pager support on a rotating schedule
