Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • 6+ years of progressive accounting, audit, consolidation, or financial reporting experience • Strong international consolidation and intercompany accounting experience • Experience working within a global or multinational organization • Advanced Excel skills required; Power BI experience strongly preferred • Strong interest in AI, automation, and modernizing financial reporting processes • CPA or equivalent professional designation preferred • Big 4 or large CPA firm experience preferred, but not required with strong global accounting experience • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across countries and time zones
Responsibilities
• Lead global monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation activities • Own and resolve complex intercompany accounting and reconciliation issues across international entities • Review consolidated financial results and investigate significant variances and accounting issues • Provide guidance to regional finance teams on reporting, consolidation, accounting treatments, and close requirements • Support executive, Board, shareholder, lender, and management reporting • Oversee audit support, tax compliance, transfer pricing, and related global accounting activities • Lead implementation of new AI-driven financial reporting tools and other automation initiatives • Develop and improve global accounting policies, controls, and reporting processes • Manage and develop a Senior Accountant while providing leadership to global finance teams • The immediate priorities include resolving existing intercompany reconciliation issues, strengthening consolidation and financial reporting, and helping lead the implementation of new AI reporting technology.
