Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience with Python, building backend systems and data pipelines • 5+ years of experience designing and deploying scalable cloud architectures on Azure • Proven experience leading at least one major system migration or full re-architecture (e.g., Golang to Python) • 3+ years of experience working with Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) or high-volume data platforms • Solid understanding of React for front-end integration • Strong experience making architectural decisions balancing scalability, performance, and technical debt • Ability to work autonomously and lead technical initiatives end-to-end • Advanced English • 2+ years of experience with Golang, especially for understanding legacy systems • Experience working with healthcare data, DICOM standards, or Real-World Data (RWD) • 4+ years of experience with distributed systems, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and asynchronous processing • Experience working in regulated environments or with data compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR)

Responsibilities

• Lead the migration and re-architecture of legacy Golang services into a modern Python-based ecosystem • Actively contribute to development, writing high-quality, scalable, and performant code • Define and own the cloud architecture roadmap on Azure, ensuring scalability and reliability • Ensure systems meet healthcare data standards and compliance requirements (HIPAA/GDPR) • Provide technical leadership, mentoring the team and promoting best practices (code reviews, architecture standards)
