reedsy - Senior Copywriter - Remote

• Your role is to develop new concepts and craft world-beating copy that convert traffic into eager and knowledgeable users of our products. You will: • Develop a consistent tone of voice for Reedsy across multiple channels; • Own and evolve our brand guidelines; • Help onboard writers to ensure consistency across every channel; • Come up with new creative ideas to convert our traffic; • Review copy performance (open rates, click-through, conversions) and use those learnings to sharpen future work; • Work closely with a team of content creators (writers, illustrators, animators, and YouTubers) on ad and modal copy, graphic assets, storyboards and video scripts; and • Bring a high standard to your own copy and honest, useful feedback to everyone else's. • Person Specification • Both a very analytical and highly creative individual; • Experience creating conversion copy for large-scale campaigns at a fast-growth startup; • A varied portfolio of copy, from short form to long form; • Ability to write with range, from playful campaign headlines to technical writing concepts; • Proven experience shaping brand guidelines and tone of voice; • Familiarity with the publishing industry and writing craft concepts; • Experience with email marketing, conversion optimization and A/B testing; • Familiarity with Google Analytics and other analytics tools; and • Native-level English speaker.
